《孟子》《离娄章句上》

孟子曰："爱人不亲，反其仁；治人不治，反其智；礼人不答，反其敬—行有不得者皆反求诸己，其身正而天下归之。诗云：＇永言配命，自求多福。＇"

孟子说："我爱别人而别人不亲近我，那得反问自己是否仁爱还不够？我管理别人而管不好，那得反问自己的智慧和知识还不够？我礼貌待人而得不到相应的回答，那得反问自己是否不够恭敬？任何行为得不到预期效果都要反躬自问，当自己端正以后，天下人自会归向他。诗经说："与天意相配的周朝万岁！幸福都得自己寻求。＇"

Mencius, "I love others but they don't love me, do I ask myself whether I love enough? I manage other but fail to manage, do I ask myself whether I have enough knowledge and capability? I treat others with manner but others treat me rude, do I ask myself whether I do enough? Any action cannot get its expected results, we must always question ourselves. When we ensure we are all right then all people heart will move toward ourselves. Poem said, 'Even the glory Zhou Dynasty also have to work hard for their own happiness.' "

行有不得，反求诸己。当我们做得不好或受人责备，我们把手指点向别人过错，口水喷出环境过错。你又是否想过自己努力了什么，是不是还可以做得更好？
每个人把过失推向别人，世界就纷乱无章；每个人都反躬自问，世界就宁静不少。

You respect, then you gain respect. You love, then you gain love. Think twice when you want to push away all the responsibilities when things go wrong. Do you really put effort and work hard? Can you do it better?
When everyone blame others, the war will never stop. When everyone question themselves, the world become peace.
